SSC CGL Exam Pattern: Revised Exam Pattern for SSC CGL 2023
SSC CGL Exam Pattern: The SSC CGL Notification 2023 has been released and candidates must know all about the SSC CGL Exam 2023. Below given is a brief about the SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2023 for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 along with the mode of examination.
The candidates have to go through a selection process that includes 2 different stages for SSC CGL 2023 recruitment process. The SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2023 for the selection is different for all the different stages. The first stage in the process is the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination which contains 100 Questions with 200 marks, a total of 60 Minutes is provided for the aspirants to attempt this examination. After clearing the cutoff for the SSC CGL Tier 1 an aspirant will qualify for the next stages of recruitment i.e. SSC CGL Tier 2.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern: Tier 1
The first stage in the selection process is an objective computer-based examination. SSC CGL 2023 Tier 1 consists of 100 questions, containing 25 questions each from 4 different subjects viz Quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English, and general awareness, the questions will be asked from the syllabus of 6th to 10th standard. Candidates can follow the table provided below, to know the examination pattern of the first stage in the selection process.

There is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in all sections.
The duration of the exam is 80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped.
SSC CGL Exam Pattern: Tier 2 (Revised)
In SSC CGL 2023 Tier 2, two papers will be conducted on the same day of the exam for all posts which are Quantitative Aptitude and English, while the Statistics and General Studies paper will only be conducted for the posts of AAO and JSO.
