SSC Stenographer Notification 2024: Eligibility Criteria
There are 3 important eligibility criteria that a candidate must fulfil in order to be eligible for the SSC Stenographer 2024 exam. The 3 parameters are given below:
SSC Stenographer Nationality
A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
SSC Stenographer Age Limit
The criteria for determining the SSC Stenographer Age Limit 2024 and meeting educational qualifications for the SSC Stenographer position differ in terms of their reference dates. The following outlines the specified range for age eligibility:
- Candidates need to be at least 18 to apply.
- For Grade C, candidates can be up to max 30 years old; for Grade D, it’s 27.
