Testicular Lobules: The small compartments that contains highly coiled seminiferous tubules are called testicular lobules. Each testis (singular) has 250 compartments called testicular lobules. So testes (plural) has 500 testicular lobules. Each lobule contains one to three highly coiled seminiferous tubules. The cells and tissues in the seminiferous tubules are responsible for spermatogenesis, which is the process of creating sperm. Lobules are made up of coiled tubes surrounded by dense connective tissues.
