A [Rajaraja I]
Notes:
Arumolivarman or Rajaraja I led a naval expedition against the Sailendra Empire in Malaya peninsula and expanded Chola trade with China. He also came out victorious against the Western Chalukyas and the Rashtrakutas.

B [Someshwar]
Notes:
Rajadhiraja was one of the greatest and bravest warriors in the Chola dynasty. He died in the battlefield while fighting in the battle of Koppam against Someshwar, a western Chalukyan king.

C [Simuka]
Notes:
Simuka was the founder of the Satavahana Dynasty. He is mentioned as the first king in a list of royals in a Satavahana inscription at Nanaghat. He is believed to have destroyed the Shunga Power in the Deccan with the aid of the Rathikas and Bhojakas. He reigned for around 23 years and was beheaded by his brother Kanha, who succeeded him.

D [Pataliputra]
Notes:
Chandragupta I was a king of the Gupta dynasty who ascended the throne of Magadha in 320 CE. He married Kumaradevi, princess of the Lichchhavi clan and got Pataliputra as part of his dowry. His marriage to the Lichchhavi princess Kuma-radevi helped him extend his political power. Their son was Samudragupta who further expanded the Gupta empire.

B [Krishnadevaraya]
Notes:
Krishnadevaraya (1509–1530), the greatest” emperor of the Vijayanagara Empire, composed Amuktamalyada. Considered a masterpiece in Telugu literature, the epic poem is believed to have been written and dedicated to Lord Venkateswara. The administration of the empire was carried on along the lines indicated in his Amuktamalyada.
