  • Temperate Forest: found in the Himalayan region and in parts of the northeast region.
  • Desert: found in the northwestern part of the country, including the Thar Desert.
  • Grassland: found in the northeastern part of the country, particularly in the states of Assam and West Bengal.
  • Alpine: found in the high elevations of the Himalayan region.
  • Mangrove: found in the delta regions of the major rivers in India, particularly the Sundarbans in West Bengal.
