Biological Museum: Museums are collection of plants and animals for study and reference. Only those plants are preserved in museum which cannot be kept in herbaria example algae fungi, Mosses and ferns. Parts of gymnosperms, fruits, underground storage organs. Animals are preserved in chemical solutions (Formalin) as well as in stuffed and skeletal forms.
- Specimens are preserved in jars with alcohol and formalin preservative solutions.
- Only those plants that aren’t suitable for the herbarium are saved.
- Algae, fungus, mosses, ferns, succulents, fruits, and other items are among them. Fish, reptiles, amphibians, and other animals are also kept.
- Skeletons of large animals are preserved. Inside the bug cages, insects are dried and put on pins.
